Zoom into a group of fields, then click an outline to inspect its coverage.
Overlapping outlines are individual TESS sectors. Dashed blue outlines show planned images.

Checking the shared queue…
Workers claim a prepared field from oklo.org, search locally, and return a result for review.
Get the search package“Ready to claim” counts prepared work packages, not all remaining sky fields. Fields enter the queue after geometry and catalog checks. Counts refresh every minute; the map uses a dated snapshot.
Reading the map
Purple shading is the density of 21,740 surviving reference orbits at the 2018 reference epoch, smoothed by 2°. It is not a posterior updated by this search. Right ascension increases to the left; the ecliptic uses J2000.
Outlines are sector image footprints, including overlapping and unsearched pixels. A completed search does not imply uniform depth or an excluded patch of sky. Injection recovery determines sensitivity; unresolved flags are not confirmed planets.
Zoomed field labels show the faintest recovered injection and the unresolved flag count. A flag is a trial trajectory that exceeded the field’s control scores. Several trajectories can flag the same residual, so this is not a count of distinct objects. Magenta fields need follow-up; muted red fields stopped before search. A dash means flags were not assessed.
Flags are screened against the local orbital and physical ranges of the Brown reference population, with allowances for sampling and measurement uncertainty. Rejected trials remain in the historical record. Amber fields have cleared their flags and await recovery calibration; green requires completed search and recovery checks. These classifications are conditional on the adopted planet-nine population.
Missed injections and uncalibrated depths are marked explicitly. T denotes TESS magnitude and V visual magnitude. Click a field for recovery counts at each tested magnitude.
